Our Chef and Team

B&B Catering, named after the mother-daughter team: Ruby Booze and Demetra Bailey, was established May 29, 2002. They are affectionately known as “The Queen B & Baby B” and the their talented culinary team and gifted staff make up the “and” in the name.

Motivated by the loss of her beloved son, David Alan Bailey, Jr. aka “DJ”, Demetra pushed forward to begin a long lasting journey and life of service. His struggle with brain cancer and his subsequent passing became the inspiration for the name of the Corporation: Soulful Creations, Inc.

A simple start, catering continental breakfasts, cold lunches and smoked meats in her mother’s garage, quickly grew as the word of their delicious food and friendly service continued to spread, ultimately leading to their first corporate caterings with IBM & Sonic Corporation.
